Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 2 tsp. salt, 1 large onion, finely chopped, 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce and 2 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans or pork and beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown meat in large pan over low heat, crumbling meat with a fork.
Drain off fat.
Sprinkle meat with chili powder, salt and sugar; mix well.
Add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, water and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf.
Add beans to pot.
Thicken with a few instant potatoes. Cover and simmer another 30 minutes.
