Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large onion, 1 lb. hamburger, 1 qt. tomato juice, 1 tsp. salt (rounded) and 1 can kidney beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut up onion and brown in butter.
Add hamburger; stir and cook until no longer red.
Add tomato juice and salt.
Cook slowly, about 1/2 hour.
Add kidney beans.
Break up and add spaghetti.
Cook slowly until soft.
Add water, if necessary.
Add chili powder last.
Allow about 1 hour or longer to make, stirring occasionally.
Can be reheated or can be frozen for later use.
