Chile Con Queso
Chile Con Queso is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. velveeta cheese, 3 cans green chiles, peeled, 1 large ripe tomato, 3 tbsp. onion juice and 2 large cloves of garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cut cheese into pieces.
Chop the peeled chiles and the peeled tomato; add the other ingredients.
Cook in the top of a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with Fritos, tostados or crackers.
This mixture should cook or rather melt down, about 3 hours.
If possible, serve in a chafing dish or in some utensil over hot water.
