Chickpeas with Pasta
Chickpeas With Pasta is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can progresso chickpeas, 1/4 lb. linguini or spaghettini, 3 c. water, 4 whole garlic cloves, slit and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Pour all contents from chickpeas, including liquid, into 6 or 8-cup saucepan.
Add 3 cups water, garlic, salt, pepper, oil, sauce and oregano.
Simmer until chickpeas are tender, about 30 minutes.
Cook pasta separately and drain well.
Add to main ingredients when done.
Let simmer another 5 minutes so the pasta will absorb the flavor.
