Chicken Waikiki
Chicken Waikiki is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, 8 oz. can tomato sauce, 2 1/2 c. hot cooked rice, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown chicken in oil and drain. Mix 1/4 cup pineapple liquid with tomato sauce and vinegar. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and cornstarch.
Simmer until clear and thick.
Add pineapple chunks. Stir constantly.
Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Serve over hot rice.
