Chicken Supreme
Chicken Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 boiled chickens, boned, 2 (6 oz.) cans mushrooms, sliced (reserve juice), 1 (7 oz.) can pimento, chopped, 1 c. finely chopped onion and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In very large mixing bowl, place chicken (cut into pieces), sliced mushrooms (reserving juice), pimento and onion.
(*Add enough milk to mushroom juice to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.)
Stir into mayonnaise together with seasonings.
Add to chicken and toss lightly.
Pour into large ungreased baking tin or casserole. Cover.
Bake at 375Β° for about 45 minutes.
Serve on hot, toasted Chinese noodles; top with toasted almonds.
Serves about 16.
