Chicken Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 whole or 8 halves chicken breast, 3 large diced potatoes, 1/2 lb. sliced okra, 1/2 c. ketchup and 3 c. chicken stock (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook, debone and chop chicken.
Place in 5-quart cooker or crock-pot the chicken, tomatoes, potatoes, onion and okra; cook for 8 hours.
Add corn, ketchup and barbecue sauce.
Cook 10 more minutes.
This makes the stew.
If you want soup, add the 3 cups chicken stock.
