Chicken Soufflé
Chicken Soufflé is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with white bread, crust removed, c. diced, cooked chicken, c. sliced mushrooms, c. butter and sliced water chestnuts, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Line 9 x 13-inch buttered pan with bread; top with chicken. Add mushrooms, then water chestnuts, then cheese.
Combine eggs, milk and salt and pour over chicken, etc.
Mix soups, melted butter, mayonnaise and pimento and spread on top.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven and sprinkle crumbs on top.
Bake 15 minutes longer at 325°.
