Chicken Smit
Chicken Smit is an easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 chicken breast halves, deboned, 4 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted), 1 pt. sour cream, 2 medium onions, sliced and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
👨🍳 Instructions
Place deboned breasts in casserole dish with 1/2 stick butter. Sprinkle with garlic salt, paprika and pepper.
Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
Saute onion in other 1/2 butter.
In bowl, mix soup, sour cream, onions and a little juice from cooked breasts.
Mix well.
Place cooked chicken back into casserole.
Pour sauce over chicken.
Bake another 20 to 30 minutes at 350° until bubbly. Serve over rice.
