Chicken Sauterne
Chicken Sauterne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 whole chicken breasts, cut in half, salt and pepper, 1/4 c. butter, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 c. sauterne wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Brown slowly in butter.
Place chicken breasts in shallow baking dish.
Reserve drippings.
Add soup to drippings.
Slowly add wine.
Stir until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, except rice.
Heat to boiling. Pour over chicken.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes. Uncover.
Bake an additional 25 minutes until tender.
Serve over rice if desired.
