Chicken Salad
Chicken Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) chicken-fryer, 1 large onion, 2 or 3 celery stalks (long), cut fine, salt and pepper and seasoning salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut up chicken and wash.
Place in large kettle with cut up onion, celery and seasonings.
Cover with water and cook on medium heat until tender, about 1 hour.
Cool chicken.
Broth can be used for soup.
Cut up chicken, celery, eggs and relish.
Mix and add mayonnaise.
Will not need more seasoning, unless desired.
