Chicken Puffs
Chicken Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick margarine, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, onion, 1 (5 oz.) can mixin' chicken and 12 brown 'n serve rolls, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Melt butter with chopped onion in skillet.
Cut wedges out of center of uncooked rolls.
Add the pieces of rolls (broken) to the skillet and brown a little.
Keep rolls together on cookie sheet so they won't fall over.
Add can of chicken (drained) and cream of mushroom soup to skillet.
Mix well.
Add portions of the mixture to the holes in the rolls.
Top with cheese.
Bake according to the directions on the roll package (i.e. 425Β° for 8 to 10 minutes).
Serve with peas, broccoli, macaroni and cheese, or scalloped potatoes.
