Chicken Pie with Vegetables
Chicken Pie With Vegetables is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, 2 c. chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 stick melted margarine and 1/2 tsp. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Boil chicken and pick off bone.
Place in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Heat broth, soup and onion for 10 minutes, stirring well.
Add vegetables to chicken in pan.
Add broth mixture.
Mix margarine, pepper, flour and buttermilk.
Spread batter over entire mixture. Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown.
