Chicken Pie(Club Member: Brigitte Magee) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 fryer, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 1/2 cans chicken broth (maybe more), 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour and 1 1/2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Boil fryer; take meat off bone and pinch up.
Put chicken in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
Pour soup and broth over chicken.
Mix flour and sugar together.
Pour this mixture over chicken.
Bake at 350Β° about 15 minutes.
Melt 1 stick margarine and pour over crust. Bake until brown.
May have to turn on broiler to brown on top.
