Chicken Pie
Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables, 1 (3 to 4 lb.) fryer, cooked and deboned, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 c. buttermilk and 1 1/2 c. chicken broth (saved), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large greased casserole, put chicken in bottom of dish. Mix broth and soup together.
Sprinkle bird with frozen vegetables.
Next pour in soup mix.
Mix flour and buttermilk together.
Add oleo, salt and pepper.
Pour over bird mixture. Bake at 375Β° for 40 minutes.
Serves 6.
