Made with 2 (9-inch) pastries (best if made from scratch), 1 chicken, boiled, boned and chopped, 2 c. broth, 1 tbsp. minced onion and 1 (2 oz.) jar pimiento, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine chicken, pimiento, onion and seasonings.

Set aside. In skillet, melt margarine over medium heat.

When margarine bubbles, add flour and stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. While stirring, pour in broth (2 cups).

Stir and heat to boiling. Add hot mixture to chicken mixture and stir.

Gently fold in peas and pour into crust.

Add top crust and flute edges.

Pierce top crust.

Bake at 425Β° until crust is done.
