Chicken Paprikash
Chicken Paprikash is an easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. boneless chicken breasts, 1/2 c. crisco shortening, 2 tbsp. paprika, 1/2 to 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Chicken breasts. When remove and save. To make the gravy: Melt the Crisco and add the paprika and flour, stirring until blended.
This will be thick. Add to this the chicken broth.
This makes a nice gravy.
Set aside to cool. Add the cream to the cooled gravy.
