Chicken Magnifique
Chicken Magnifique is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, split (approximately 3 lb.), 1/4 c. butter or oleo, 2 c. sliced mushrooms, 2 cans cream of chicken soup and 1 large clove minced garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In Dutch oven, brown chicken in butter.
Remove.
Brown mushrooms.
Stir in soup, garlic and seasonings.
Add chicken. Cover and low heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Blend in half and half.
Heat slowly.
Garnish with slivered almonds.
Serve with rice pilaf.
