Chicken Fried Round Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2 inch thick), 1 egg, beaten, 1 tbsp. milk, 1 c. saltines, crushed fine (28 crackers) and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Pound steak to 1/4 inch thick.
Cut in 6 serving size pieces. Blend egg and milk.
Combine cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.
