Chicken Croquettes
Chicken Croquettes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. cooked, deboned and finely chopped chicken, 1/4 c. finely chopped onion, 1 egg, 1/4 stick margarine and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a medium to large saucepan, melt 1/4 stick butter or margarine and stir in 1/4 cup flour until smooth.
Add 1 cup milk and stir at a low boil until thickened and leaves sides of pan (about 2 minutes).
Remove pan from burner.
Add to this white sauce the chicken, onion, 1 egg, 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Blend well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
