Chicken Casserole
Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 36 minutes. Made with fat hens or 8 lb. chicken breasts, to 2 onions, chopped, bay leaves, . flat noodles and c. white raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook chicken and pour off stock (about 4 cups).
Add onion, bay leaves and flat noodles to stock; boil 7 minutes.
Add white raisins and slivered almonds.
Bone chicken and add.
Mix lightly; add salt and pepper.
Put in a greased baking dish; store in refrigerator overnight (if too dry, add broth).
When ready to bake, spread cream of mushroom soup over mixture.
Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and add pats of butter.
Bake, uncovered, about 1 hour at 350Β°.
Serves 16 to 20 people.
