Chicken Casserole
Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 chicken breasts or 1 1/2 whole chicken or 1 turkey breast, boiled, boned and shredded, 1 stick butter or margarine, 1 box frozen peas, boiled, 16 oz. sour cream and 1 can water chestnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt butter, use 1/2 in bottom of 8 x 14-inch casserole pan. Break crackers, layer 1/2 of the crackers in bottom of pan; top with shredded chicken.
Top with mixed cream soups, water chestnuts, peas and sour cream.
Top with remaining crackers (use more if needed).
Top with remaining butter.
Bake at 350Β° until crackers brown, about 20 to 30 minutes.
