Chicken Cacciatore
Chicken Cacciatore is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. salad oil, 1 chicken (about 3 lb.), cut into pieces or 4 half breasts, 1 tsp. salt, 1 (16 to 18 oz.) jar ortega green chili salsa and 1 (1.5 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce mix (lawry's original style), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat salad oil.
Add chicken and brown lightly.
Sprinkle salt over chicken.
Combine salsa, spaghetti sauce mix and Snap-E Tom. Mix well.
(Can add small amount of water, if needed.)
Pour mixture over chicken.
Cover and simmer until tender.
Serve with spaghetti.
Very good Mexican-Italian taste.
