Chicken Barbecue
Chicken Barbecue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut up and skinned with all visible fat removed, 3 tbsp. very fine chopped onion, 3/4 c. vinegar, 1 small (6 oz.) can tomato sauce and 1 tsp. crushed red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Boil chicken until tender and chop coarsely and set aside. Put the next 4 ingredients in a large Dutch oven and simmer until onions are clear and tender.
Add chopped chicken and simmer about 30 minutes.
Add Worcestershire sauce last.
More can be added when reheating if desired.
Just like pork barbecue!!
