Chicken and Rice Casserole
Chicken And Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 whole chicken, cut up, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 lb. velveeta cheese, 2 c. raw rice and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place cut up chicken in a 9 x 13-inch pan, seasoned with salt, pepper and Tony Chachere seasoning and bake at 350Β° until done. While chicken is baking, cook rice.
After chicken and rice are done, debone and remove skin from chicken; mix all ingredients together.
Season with salt and red pepper to taste.
If mixture is too dry, add a little chicken broth.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake until cheese is melted and slightly golden brown on top. This is a delicious meal.
