Chicken and Rice
Chicken And Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. chicken breasts, 1 stick margarine, 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1/2 can water and 3/4 c. raw rice (not minute rice), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Take uncooked chicken off bones and cut into bite-size pieces. Salt and pepper.
Melt margarine in skillet on low heat.
Add all ingredients, except chicken.
Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Place chicken on top and push down with spatula.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes, uncovered.
Cover with foil and bake 20 to 30 minutes longer.
Add grated cheese, if desired.
Heat just until melted.
