Chicken a La King
Chicken A La King is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper, 2 tbsp. butter or oleo, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup and 1/3 to 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook onion and green pepper in butter or oleo until tender. Blend in soup and milk.
Add chicken, pimiento and pepper.
Heat slowly; stir often.
Serve over toast, mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles.
You may add 2 boiled eggs, cut, after you're finished cooking.
