Chewy Chocolate Cookies
Chewy Chocolate Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Add egg and vanilla; blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts, if desired.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cookies will be soft.
Cool on cookie sheet until set, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes about 2 1/4 dozen.
