Chestnut Cream Dessert
Chestnut Cream Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. chestnuts, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 4 tbsp. cream and 4 tbsp. favorite liqueur or syrup (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cut chestnuts in place in medium hot oven until shells and inner brown easily.
Peel the chestnuts and put enough water to cover.
Add sugar and salt; boil until chestnuts are very tender.
Remove from heat; drain and mash or purΓ©e in blender with remaining ingredients. Can be garnished with whipped cream, fruit, etc.
