Chess Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 or 4 eggs, well beaten, 1 to 2 tsp. vanilla and 1 tbsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream butter with sugar; add eggs, salt, vinegar and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 300° for 10 minutes.
Raise temperature to 350° and bake for 45 minutes.
