Cherry Winks Cookies
Cherry Winks Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Combine together shortening, sugar and eggs.
Cream well, then add vanilla.
Dry ingredients, then add nuts, dates and cherries.
Mix well. and roll in corn flakes, place on greased baking sheet top each cookie with 1/4 maraschino cherry.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
