Cherry Torte

Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased dish at 350Β° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool thoroughly.
Whip 1 pint heavy whipping cream.
Add 2 tablespoons granulated sugar.
Place on top of cake, spreading evenly.
Place cherries on top.
Chill 4 to 5 hours before serving.
