Cherry Topped Cheese Cake
Cherry Topped Cheese Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yellow cake mix, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 300°.
Reserve 1 cup dry cake mix.
In large bowl combine remaining mix, 1 egg and oil (mixture will be crumbly).
Press mix evenly into bottom and 3/4 up sides of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
In same bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar.
Add 3 eggs and reserved cake mix.
Beat 1 minute.
Slowly add milk and flavorings.
Mix until smooth.
Pour into crust, bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 300°.
Chill and store in refrigerator. When cool, top with pie filling.
