Cherry Opera Fudge
Cherry Opera Fudge is an easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 3 tbsp. milk, 1 pkg. our creamy white frosting mix, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and 1/2 c. candied cherry halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Butter loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
In top of double boiler, melt butter in milk.
Stir in frosting mix (dry) until smooth. Heat over rapidly boiling water 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in nuts and cherries.
Spread mixture evenly in pan.
Let stand until firm.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
Makes 32.
