Cherry Holiday Cake

Bring raisins to boil, drain and cool.
Mix together butter, sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Add dry ingredients, then add cherries, nuts and raisins.
Pour batter into ungreased tube pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350° and then lower to 300°.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool before removing from pan.
