Preheat oven to 325Β°.
In medium bowl, combine pie filling, condensed milk and almond extract.
In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup oleo into 2 cups biscuit mix until crumbly.
Stir in cherry mixture . Spread in greased 12 x 7-inch baking dish.
In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup biscuit mix and sugar.
Cut in remaining 2 tablespoons oleo until crumbly.
Stir in nuts.
Sprinkle evenly over cherry mixture.
Bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
