Cherry Dessert
Cherry Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1 angel food cake, 2 cans cherry pie filling, 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1 pkg. dream whip or cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Break cake into small pieces; place half in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Spread pie filling over the pieces of cake, saving some cherries for garnish.
Put remaining cake over filling.
Beat the pudding mix and milk.
Add the whipped topping; mix until smooth and blended.
Spread over cake; garnish with the saved cherries from the filling.
Refrigerate.
Better if made the day before served.
May use other fruit.
