Cheesy Cabbage Casserole
Cheesy Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tsp. salt, 1 medium sliced onion, 4 c. sliced cabbage, 1 c. milk and 2 qt. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Put salt, onion and cabbage in water.
Boil just enough to wilt cabbage.
Drain and place cabbage in a generously buttered baking dish.
Layer of 1/2 cup grated cheese.
Cracker crumbs. Repeat all 3 layers, ending cracker crumbs.
Dot with margarine and carefully pour in milk to cover crumbs.
Bake in 400Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until casserole is bubbling and light brown.
