Cheesy Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf french bread, 8 oz. shredded american cheese (2 c.), 1/2 c. butter or oleo, softened and 1/4 c. onion flakes, soaked in 2 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut bread diagonally into 1-inch slices.
Mix cheese and butter.
Soften onion flakes in water; drain and stir into cheese mixture.
Spread on the cut bread surfaces.
Reassemble loaf and wrap in foil.
Refrigerate no longer than 24 hours.
Heat in a 400Β° oven until cheese is melted, approximately 25 minutes.
