Cheesy Beef Corn Bread
Cheesy Beef Corn Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. yellow corn meal, 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 c. yellow corn meal, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon corn meal in bottom of a 10-inch skillet (well-greased). Cook over medium heat until corn meal is slightly browned.
Combine corn meal, salt and soda.
Mix well. Add milk, corn, eggs and oil.
Mix well.
Pour 1/2 batter into skillet; sprinkle with cheese, onion, peppers and ground beef.
Top with remaining batter.
Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 55 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
