Cheese Wafers
Cheese Wafers is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sharp cheese, grated, 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, 2 c. sifted cake flour, cayenne pepper to taste and 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Warm cheese and butter to room temperature.
Cream together until fluffy.
Add flour and nuts; mix well.
Make into rolls (3 rolls about 1 1/2-inches round).
Roll each in wax paper.
Chill several hours.
Cut into 1/3-inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet one inch apart.
Bake in 400Β° oven for 10 minutes only.
Do not brown.
Sprinkle with pepper.
Store in airtight container.
