Cheese Things is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. (12 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese, grated, 2 sticks butter, softened, 1 3/4 c. flour (self-rising), 2 tsp. sugar and 2 dashes salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix together with hands.
(Most of the time I let sit in refrigerator overnight or until ready to fix; makes it easier to roll.)
Roll into balls and put on a cookie sheet.
Press whole pecan into center of each ball.
Bake at 350Β° about 15 to 17 minutes.
Cool on wax paper.
