Cheese Straws
Cheese Straws is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted flour, 1 lb. sharp cheese, grated (kraft extra sharp or cracker barrel are good), 1/4 c. parmesan, 1 c. butter or oleo and 1 scant tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix flour, salt, pepper and grated cheese.
Soften butter using electric mixer.
Add flour to cheese mixture.
Mix well until mixture looks like butter.
Put into a cookie press.
Using star pattern, make long continuous bar down length of cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes or until done.
Be careful not to overbake.
Cut into desired lengths when first removing from oven.
May be stored for several weeks.
