Cheese Straws
Cheese Straws is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 c. grated american cheese, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper and 1 1/2 c. sifted martha white plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Let butter come to room temperature. Cream butter and cheese together.
Add salt and cayenne and work in flour.
Cover and chill about 1 hour.
Roll out on lightly floured cloth or board about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut in sticks with a sharp knife or pastry wheel about 1/2 inch wide and 4 inches long. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
