Cheese Straws
Cheese Straws is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, sifted, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. grated cheese, 1 tsp. baking powder and 4 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into medium size bowl.
With pastry blender, combine margarine and grated cheese. Mix lightly with a fork until pastry holds together and leaves sides of bowl clean.
Roll out to a 12 inch x 10 inch rectangle on a lightly floured board.
Divide in half and cut each half crosswise into 1/2 strips.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
