Cheese Sticks
Cheese Sticks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c sifted all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tbsp butter or margarine and 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl.
Cut in butter or margarine with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
Toss until well blended.
Sprinkle water over mixture and mix lightly with fork until pastry holds together and leaves the side of the bowl clean.
Roll on a floured surface into a 12x10-inch rectangle.
Cut in half lengthwise; then cut each half cross wise into 1/2 inch strips.
Lift strips one at a time, twist and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425Β° for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
Cool before serving.
