Cheese Specials
Cheese Specials is an moderately easy dinner. Made with fresh ripe tomatoes, garlic powder, provolone cheese, italian bread or rolls and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a saucepan melt 1/2 stick butter.
Slice tomatoes to desired thickness and spread out in a saucepan; sprinkle with garlic, salt, pepper and other spices, if desired.
Turn tomatoes and sprinkle again with desired spices.
Place several slices of cheese (Provolone) on top of sauteed tomatoes.
When melted, put onto fresh or toasted Italian bread or rolls.
