Cheese Pet
Cheese Pet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices buttered bread, cubed, 1 lb. grated sharp cheese, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 c. milk or half and half and 1/2 c. medium white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Alternate bread and cheese in buttered casserole.
Beat eggs until thick.
Add milk, wine, mustard and salt.
Pour egg mixture over bread and cheese.
Let stand for several hours or overnight in refrigerator.
Let casserole return to room temperature before baking for 1 hour at 350Β°.
Serves 8 to 10.
