Combine flour and salt; cut into shortening.

Stir in cheese. Sprinkle one tablespoon water over part of the mixture; toss gently with fork.

Push aside.

Repeat, adding enough of the water so entire mix is moistened.

Form into a ball.

Roll dough into a 12 x 12-inch square on a lightly floured surface.

Cut into 36 (2 x 2-inch) squares.

Grease mini-muffin cups.

Press dough squares allowing points to stick up.

Prick with a fork.

Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden in color.

Remove shells from pans; cool on wire racks.

Shells may be filled with egg, tuna and/or ham salad, with a hot Sloppy Joes mix or a cold or hot mix of your choice.
