Cheese Onion Bread
Cheese Onion Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. onion, chopped, 4 tbsp. butter, melted, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 2 1/2 c. bisquick and 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender.
Combine eggs, milk, Bisquick and 2/3 cup cheese in bowl, mixing well.
Add onion, stirring to blend.
Pour into greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
Mix remaining 2 tablespoons butter, 1/3 cup cheese and poppy seed.
Sprinkle topping over batter.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 to 30 minutes or until loaf tests done.
